Excellent work as always Dinesh.
PLM Project ManagerMr. Arora proved to be a most valuable resource by quickly coming up to speed on our custom implementation of PLM, and being able to make appropriate business and technical recommendations. He brought with him years of experience and seasoned expertise. Mr. Arora is the expert’s expert of PLM. While working here, Mr. Arora managed to be a mentor to many of our staff from Business Consultants developing the high level work processes and PLM lifecycles, to the System Architect managing the PLM data model, to programmers, showing them better ways to write method code. I would unequivocally, without a doubt, recommend him to any organization at any stage of PLM system implementation.
I really enjoyed working with you. You’re a real Pro!.
PLM Project ManagerWe first hired Dinesh as a consultant in the ~1998 timeframe, when we were preparing to upgrade our core PDM system, Metaphase, from version 2.6 to 3.1. Dinesh’s expertise in Metaphase was critical to the success of the implementation. I am happy to say that the upgrade was successful with minimal user impact. Dinesh’s knowledge impressed us greatly, and we decided to continue the support contract.
Since then, Dinesh worked as part of my team where he not only performed software development tasks, but also served as an expert consultant for design and software development approaches. Although he had many contributions, among the greatest were Product Structure Effectivity Management, interfacing with Pro/Engineer for loading Bill of Material data, and Derivative Files (ProductView, IGES, STEP, CGM) generation for the BTP (Build to Package).
Manager, IT Engineering Systems, Pratt and Whitney RocketdyneDinesh has been working in the PLM space for many years and we have had the chance to rely on his expertise in PDM, ERP and system integration for a number of key tasks on our EPDM project at Rocketdyne. Rather than make a long list of the things that Dinesh has solved for us, I would just like to state that Dinesh has provided expertise always with a pragmatic angle, which has enabled us to tackle very challenging migration or integration issues around Teamcenter.
PDM ArchitectDinesh has been providing consulting services to Seagate in the field of Product Data Management / Product Lifecycle Management on a part time as needed basis since early 1995. I have known him and his work since Seagate started the first implementation of Seascape, Seagate’s PDM project. Seascape is based on the EDS commercial off the shelf package, Metaphase.
He was instrumental in bringing on Seagate’s five design centers on line. With the PDM system. He has helped in the architecture, user interface, customizations, database procedures, requirements analysis, and all aspects of PDM implementation.
Most recently, as Seagate moved to Seascape 5, Dinesh lead the project to migrate the data (Parts, BOMs, ECR, Doc) from Oracle ERP system. He also migrated documents, ECRs, files from the previous Seascape system into the new system. This was a major responsibility, which he fulfilled on schedule and within our cost expectations. He also guided the architecture of the overall PDM system and the interface between Oracle ERP and PDM system.
One of Dinesh’s strengths is that he brings diverse and valuable experience, sound product knowledge and a keen understanding of PDM issues and problems to all areas that he works on.
I feel very comfortable in recommending Dinesh’s services. In my experience with Dinesh, he has guided us in the right direction at major critical decisions (database architecture, ERP integration, CAD integration, migration from ERP and legacy systems) has helped us avoid pit falls, which would have been very costly.
